As you know we are in an unprecedented season, the Covid-19 pandemic is a fast moving and fluid situation. We are trying to stay current on all the news and recommendations coming from the CDC and local health departments.   We feel it is important for us to remember that the attitude of Christians toward times of crisis is always going to be different than the attitude of the world.   “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7) Our attitude should not be one of fear.  The delicate balance for the church is to be cautious and cooperative without operating in fear or compromising our faith.
“Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised; And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” (Hebrews 10:23–25)
